Project and Thesis
We offer bachelor and master thesis projects that align with our research interests and methods, which include computational social choice, parameterized algorithms, algorithmic game theory, graph modification problems, fair allocation, opinion diffusion, and combinatorial data anonymization. These topics can be explored through purely theoretical research or through a mixed practical and theoretical approach, which involves developing and analyzing algorithms, as well as implementing and testing them on synthetic and real-world data. We are also open to discussing potential topics that may fall outside of these areas but still align with our overall research goals. We understand that theoretical topics can be challenging, so we offer close supervision and frequent meetings to ensure that you make good progress. If any tasks prove to be more difficult than expected, we can adjust the research questions to ensure that you can obtain new and interesting results.
If you're interested in working with us, please contact us (email or request form on this website) and provide information on relevant courses you've taken and any relevant skills you have in programming, web development, databases, and more. We look forward to working with you and finding a topic that suits your interests and abilities.
